The expansive offerings aboard Holland America’s Pinnacle Class includes three vessels (the Rotterdam, Nieuw Statendam and the Koningsdam) that are significantly younger than any other ship in the fleet and boast more amenities as well, since the ships are bigger.
Dining Options Around The World
Holland America Line is well known for taking guests on culinary journeys around the world with their diverse and culturally inspired cuisine. While every Holland America ship features a main dining area and select specialty dining options, Pinnacle Class ships boasts all five available specialty dining restaurants, including:
- Pinnacle Grill: Classic steakhouse dishes with a wide selection of 28-day wet-aged USDA Prime cuts of beef

In addition to these dining venues, only Pinnacle Class ships feature Rudi’s Sel De Mer, an intimate French brasserie named for award-winning chef Rudi Sodamin. Rudi’s Sel De Mer’s menu is comprised of imaginative and delicious seafood dishes infused with French technique and flare such as Dover sole meunière with shaved pink Himalayan Sea salt, as well as traditional favorites like steak frites, duck cassoulet and coq au vin.
